Learn how you can get involved and improve the yards of America!

YEA! is part of Project EverGreen. Project EverGreen is involved in several outreach programs that aim to spread the word about the benefits of green space. If you're looking for a way to expand your enthusiasm about your yard into your community, here are some ideas to get you started.

GreenCare for Troops is designed to provide lawn and landscape maintenance help for families of armed forces personnel whose major breadwinner is serving in the Middle East.

If you are citizen who wants to lend a hand, please sign up to become a GreenCare for Troops volunteer.

America in Bloom is an awesome program that awards prizes to communities for public beautification projects.  Prizes are based on a number of criteria and awarded based on the size of the community. Project EverGreen sponsored an award in the 2006 America in Bloom contest - learn more about that here.

If you'd like to get your community involved in America in Bloom, please check out their website:  www.americainbloom.org.

Habitat for Humanity is a well-known organization that we have partnered with on several building projects. Project EverGreen has coordinated the installation of sod and landscaping to make these houses into homes. We encourage you to look into your local Habitat chapter and get involved with projects in your area. Find a local chapter here.

YEA! and Project EverGreen welcome your involvement on any of these projects. And please, feel free to let your other Yard Enthusiasts know what you're doing. Your willingness to help may encourage others to do the same.
